RUNWELL Tools absolutely made in JAPAN
Hot forging
Hot forging is an essential part of making strong, hard and supple tools. Hot forging is a processing method in which when heated at 1200 degrees, the metal is struck with a mold to apply pressure to crush the voids inside the metal and increase its strength, while also forming it into the desired shape. Runwell's strength lies in its ability to forge steel, stainless steel, titanium, and titanium alloys. At the forging site, veterans in their 60s to young people in their 20s are engaged in the work, studying and passing on their skills.
Laser cutting
We cut sheet metal materials with a thickness of 0.3 mm to 12 mm. Runwell plank tools are made by laser cutting. The reason for cutting with a laser instead of a press is to reduce damage to nuts and mating parts due to sagging of the plate material and rough fracture surface that occur during press working, and to improve dimensional accuracy compared to press working. Also, since no mold is required, it is useful for trial production during product development that is repeated many times.
Rise scene
Tsubamesanjo has a long history of manufacturing, and its culture is deeply rooted. Local manufacturing, which started as a side business of farmers, has developed craftsmanship and is still passed down to the younger generation. Runwell also makes products that express the uniqueness of Tsubamesanjo by developing products that combine the craftsmanship and technology. The craftsmanship and polisher craftsmanship shown in the photo gives Runwell's products an ideal qualia
Tool scene during development
Design and design. Based on the Runwell concept, we will proceed with R & D by repeating design, design, trial production, trial and error. Of course, we aim for good texture and usability at the design stage, but only products with designs that have a presence in our daily lifestyle will be on the market. In the sample room, tools that have not yet appeared in the world are in plastic, and tools that are not even shaped are breathless in the state of drawings in the personal computer. We would like to provide tools that will impress you with technology and texture, and give you a sense of presence with ideas and designs.
